The free and first self-employed festival in the country will be held in Tatarstan

A free large-scale event with the participation of stars and the drawing of certificates and other prizes will be held in Tatarstan on December 18. The authorities of the republic are organizing the country's first self-employed festival to involve citizens in entrepreneurial activities within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship". 

The self-employed Fest will unfold in the capital of the republic at the site of the B. Rameev IT Park on December 18 from 11 to 21 o'clock. 

"Tatarstan has always been distinguished by its best practices in supporting the self–employed - we were the first in the country to introduce such a tool as trade fairs, set a Russian record for the longest self-employed retail counter, implemented a program to bring it to marketplaces, constantly hold forums and other thematic events. This approach shows that self–employment is easy and understandable, and most importantly, the self–employed can use a whole range of support measures to develop their business idea," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the region Natalia Kondratova.

The festival program includes a traditional fair of self-employed products on the ground floor of the technopark. Masters from all over the republic are invited to participate. The fair will be open throughout the festival day.

At 13:00, the concert hall will host a screening of the New Year's play "Umka" from the Trickster Theater of the Future from Moscow. Absolutely everyone is invited – adults and children, admission is free.

From 15:00 to 17:00, 2 workshops will be held for self-employed makeup artists and jewelry makers: 

The first is a master class on New Year's makeup, as well as a "Battle of make-up artists", among the participants will be held by the world-famous make-up artist and a regular participant of Fashion Week - Denis Kartashev. The winner will receive a certificate for 30 thousand rubles to the cosmetics store. 

The second workshop will be held for jewelers and jewelry makers, the invited speaker is the owner of the Russian jewelry brand. The speaker will present the most active participant of the workshop with a certificate to the store of consumables, metal and stones for jewelry. 

At 19:00, the culmination of the evening is a free performance by the most listened–to group of the year in Russia, "Culture Rooms".  

In addition, in the final part of the evening, the winners of the online intensive "I am self-employed", which can be attended by taxi drivers and couriers, will be announced. They will receive bicycles and certificates for free gasoline. The acceptance of applications for participation in the intensive has been extended until December 15. 

The festival is organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Thanks to the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises", all the events of the festival will be held for guests and participants absolutely free of charge.
