The startup mentoring support program "Startup Seasons", organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on the basis of the My Business centers and the Start center of MIPT, has ended. In total, 17 startups reached the finals, which demonstrated more significant progress, one of them was a project from the Republic of Tatarstan.

More than 100 applications from 29 regions of the Russian Federation have been received for participation in the program. As a result of strict selection, 28 startups were selected, 17 of them reached the finals. These are teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tver, Sverdlovsk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan. All of them had the opportunity to develop their projects within three months under the guidance of the country's leading mentors.

The QUADRUM project has reached the final from Tatarstan. This is the first 3D-printed residential settlement. QUADRUM Management Company LLC is building the first innovative cottage settlement using 3D printing technology in the republic.

"Supporting technological and knowledge-based entrepreneurship is one of our priorities. This is one of the industries that ensures our country's technological leadership, creates innovations, engages in import substitution and generates a supply-side economy. The growth rate of the industry is one of the most dynamic: according to our forecasts, by 2030 the growth of gross value added in this area will be more than 41%. Our joint program helps young technology companies quickly adapt to market conditions and become successful players. Already during the project, many participants found partners and customers, sites for pilot launches, investments for development," said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

As part of the program, participants had the opportunity to develop projects under the mentorship of 50 specialists and investors who helped them find growth points, optimize business models, and improve product strategies. In total, the participants held 108 individual consultations with experts and 120 mentoring sessions. The teams regularly presented the results of their work and received ratings from the commission, on the basis of which the rating of the programs was then compiled and the finalists were determined. A total of 17 startups made it to the finals.

"The Startup Seasons program is a real support for young entrepreneurs who create advanced technologies. We are happy to give students and graduates a platform where their ideas can grow into full-fledged businesses. Thanks to our partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, we have created an ecosystem in which startups receive everything they need to confidently enter the market: knowledge, resources and support from experienced mentors," said Daria Grits, Director of Digitalization at MIPT.

The Startup Seasons have become a continuation of MIPT's new strategy to support student entrepreneurship. At the center of this strategy is the "startup as a diploma" format: instead of the usual thesis, students create and develop their own business. This approach helps students not just study, but immediately prepare for real work in the market. Thanks to the program, students gain practical experience, learn how to attract investments and launch their first products.
