28.10.2024 Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan- Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan R. N. Minnikhanov with the head of the Federal State Statistics Service S. S. Galkin.
The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, stressed the importance of statistical data as the main tool for managing the development of the country and its regions.
During the meeting, the high level of organization of the work of Tatarstan State Statistics Service, the territorial body of Rosstat, was noted. The Republic provides comprehensive support to its statistical structures, including provision of computer equipment, access to free Internet traffic and assistance in conducting large-scale events such as the population census.
In addition, during his visit to Kazan, Sergey Galkin took part in the XVI meeting of heads of national statistical services of the countries.
