The winners of the republican contest "Exporter of the Year" were announced in Tatarstan

Today, the results of the republican competition "Exporter of the Year", held within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized Enterprises", among small and medium-sized businesses by the end of 2023, were summed up at the Entrepreneur's House. This year, the winners were determined in 13 nominations. The competition was organized by the Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Gulnaz Ismagilova, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the award ceremony. She said that Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of entrepreneurship, which confirms the second place of the republic in the National Rating of the investment climate among the subjects of Russia. Tatarstan has entered the top 10 regions for the successful operation of the Export Center. The number of exporting entrepreneurs is growing every year. By the end of 2023, there were about 2,300 of them, 270 of them applied to participate in the competition.

Congratulating the winners of the competition, Director of the Department of Business Development Emil Khismatov noted that a fairly large amount of financial and non-financial support is provided to businesses, but there is something that is also supported - it is to evaluate the success of exporters, results, victories, professional activities.

Head of the Export Support Center Albina Gergert noted that the purpose of the competition is to promote the development of foreign economic activity of Tatarstan entrepreneurs, providing an opportunity for entrepreneurs to present the best samples of domestic products and services. The "Exporter of the Year" 2023 is a platform for promoting the best practices in foreign economic activity of republican commodity producers.

In the nomination of the best exporter in the field of high technologies, the company "Fmeter" was awarded, which is engaged in the production of sensors in the field of the Internet of Things - telematics equipment in the field of GPS transport market. A representative of the company shared his experience of entering the Chinese export market. 

"There are few places in the world where we are not present. We decided to enter China's market. Usually people go to China to buy, we decided to sell. Everyone told us that it was impossible to sell electronics to China, since there is already a similar product in this country, but we managed to sell it," said the head of the company's international sales department Alexander Kuzin, speaking at the event. 

Smartkem, a company engaged in wholesale sales of chemical raw materials to the CIS countries, was awarded in the nomination "Best Female Exporter". The award was also given to: Parli company, engaged in the production of perfumes and cosmetics and supplying products to the Persian Gulf countries through its office in the UAE, and individual entrepreneur Lilia Gubaidullina, which produces healthy food products, namely urbech with coconut milk. 

In the nomination "The best young entrepreneur-exporter", the company "Virtual Technologies", engaged in developments in the field of artificial intelligence, was awarded. The company implements its product, which allows you to digitize spaces and create 3D visualizations, in particular, a design project of residential spaces (apartments), which helps to increase the conversion of real estate sales. The company exports to the UAE.  

Innovative Technologies, which exports to Bangladesh, as well as South Korea and other countries, was awarded in the nomination "The most exotic export country". The company is engaged in the production of protective coatings for structures used for thermal and waterproofing, fire protection, and metal corrosion protection. The company "Factory of Healthy Products", which is engaged in the production of plant extracts, dietary supplements, cosmetics and tea, supplying its products to Africa (Senegal), also won this nomination. 

Neftegaz Automatika Сompany from Aktanysh was awarded in the nomination "The best family export company". The founders of this organization are father and son, the son's wife and other relatives work there. At the same time, the revenue of the family company increased by 34% in 2023.  

Traditionally, the competition was held in seven categories: the best exporter in the field of industry, the best exporter in the field of services, the best exporter in the field of agriculture, the best exporter in the field of high technology, "Breakthrough of the Year", the best female exporter and the best young exporter. This year, the number of nominations has been expanded: the most exotic export country, the largest geography, the best family export company, a new export product, the best exporter of social entrepreneurship and the best exporter of creative industries.

The winners in the main nominations were awarded certificates for participation in an international exhibition and fair event in the format of an individual stand, diplomas and award tablets. The winners in additional nominations received certificates for learning business English.
