The Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) is preparing an acceleration program that will meet the basic needs of entrepreneurs participating in the 'Know Ours" Growing Russian Brands competition. This was announced by ASI CEO Svetlana Chupsheva during a strategic session on the development of key directions for the development of Russian regions, held in Kazan.
"This year we are launching a large educational program with experts in the field of creative industries, branding, marketing. We hope that not only the winners, but also the participants of the brand competition will pass it, and this will give them the opportunity to grow in economic indicators, go beyond the country and sign the first foreign contracts already in the course of the educational program," Svetlana Chupsheva said.
Assistance in entering new markets is one of the main requests of Tatarstan's business today. "Despite all the difficulties and limitations, our enterprises are building new cooperative and logistical ties. The volume of exports with friendly countries has increased 2.5 times, a number of industries have significantly reduced import dependence and shifted to domestic supplies," said Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The participants of the session – representatives of the Azbuka Cheese brands and the Tyubetey chain of restaurants of modern Tatar cuisine – also drew attention to the importance of information support for the participants of the competition, promotion of the cultural identity of the regions. In total, Tatarstan received the most applications in the country for the competition of growing Russian brands – about 1.7 thousand.
In addition, the strategic session discussed the projects submitted by the residents of the republic to the forum "Strong ideas for a new time". They announced 335 projects on the crowd platform, a third of them in the nomination "Quality of life of the population". In particular, a solution for the transformation of the urban environment is proposed using the example of urban lighting systems. The innovation of the project lies in the synchronization of the components of the urban street lighting system and the lighting control system for building facades. The introduction of innovations will allow to combine these elements into a single network, reduce energy consumption and improve the architectural and artistic qualities of the urban environment.
Another project is the creation of an inclusive center "Everything for children", where mothers of children with special needs work, and specialists work with their children at this time. From the leader of the idea, there is already a request for assistance in passing the certification procedure for products produced by detailed centers ("Everything for Children" specializes in sewing clothes for children with disabilities), and creating conditions for large-scale production.
"We definitely support the replication of such a model throughout the country, there is a need for such infrastructure in every city and region. We have included this item in the regional social standard, which ASI implements on behalf of the President as a basic recommendation for the regions," Svetlana Chupsheva said.
The session participants also discussed projects to improve the quality of the urban environment, the development of SMEs, tourism and creative industries.
Tatarstan is the fourth region to be visited by ASI and VEB.RF with a business mission. The purpose of such visits is to form new projects and programs for the development of the region and the country as a whole together with representatives of local authorities, residents of the region, entrepreneurs and experts.
"We are meeting with entrepreneurs, regional teams, representatives of the public, and the non-profit sector. We discuss the future development of the country on a variety of issues: demography, technological development, human resources, resources, food. It is in these discussions and meetings that new strategic initiatives and projects are born, which we present at the Supervisory Board to the President of the country, the Chairman of the ASI Supervisory Board," Svetlana Chupsheva said.
"The development agenda of the country, which was determined by the President, is very broad. In preparation for the forum "Strong Ideas for a new Time" and as part of our other initiatives, we will consider how to fill this agenda," said the chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov.
