Within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship", the forum "My business. E-COM». The forum aroused great interest - 1,189 people came to personally listen to the speakers, which almost corresponds to the maximum capacity of the hall where the plenary session was held. More than 13,500 people joined the online broadcast.
Three years ago, on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, a working group was established to promote local products through e-commerce platforms. Tatarstan became the first in the country to develop its own strategy for the development of this industry. Over these three years, the number of Tatarstan sellers has increased 174 times - now there are about 60 thousand of them. This is 12% of the total number of legal entities and self-employed registered in Tatarstan. For 30% of Tatarstan sellers, online commerce has become the main source of income.
At the event, the welcoming message of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the participants of the forum was read out, in which he stressed the importance of e-commerce in general for the socio-economic development of Tatarstan.
The forum "My business. E-COM" gathered the leaders of the Russian e-commerce market, among them the founder and CEO of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk, Managing Director of Ozon Sergey Belyakov, CEO of KazanExpress Linar Khusnullin, Director of Interaction with government authorities of Yandex Dmitry Rusakov and Vice President of Public Relations, Aliexpress Russia" Sergey Lebedev. The moderator of the panel discussion was Artem Sokolov, Head of the Association of Online Trading Companies (AKIT). The experts discussed in detail the market trends in 2024 and highly appreciated the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of business support related to online commerce.
