Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting of the competition commission of the republican contest "Head of the Year – 2023"
On December 14, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the competition commission of the republican contest "Head of the Year-2023" chaired by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
In 2023, the winners of the "Manager of the Year – 2023" competition were determined in 7 nominations: "For high competitiveness", "For investment activity", "For achievements in innovation", "For high social responsibility", "For the active development of human resources", "For the successful management of a small (medium) business", "For the digital transformation of the enterprise".
The list of participants (nominees) of the competition was formed on the basis of recommendations from republican ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan.
In total, 500 recommendations were sent to participate in the competition. 115 managers became candidates for the title of laureate, who, together with their teams, ensured a high level of enterprise performance in 2023 in the areas of activity provided for by the nominations of the competition.

It should be recalled that the annual Republican public competition "Head of the Year" was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan No. UP-121 dated February 26, 2002. The competition is held in order to ensure public recognition, encouragement and dissemination of the positive experience of the best managers of enterprises and organizations who have achieved high results in their work and have made a significant contribution to solving the problems of socio-economic development of the republic.
