The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the implementation of the preferential loan program "1764" for 10 months of 2023. The country has concluded 25 thousand loan agreements in the amount of 566 billion rubles, which is 1.5 times more than the volume of loans under loan agreements concluded in January – October 2022. The leading regions are expected to be Moscow and St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Novosibirsk regions, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Tatarstan.
"At the same time, we see an almost equal distribution of loans among federal districts relative to the number of entrepreneurs. This means that such tools create equal conditions and are equally in demand by businesses across the country," said Tatyana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of this program, almost 600 entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan received support in the amount of about 15 billion rubles
The federal agency notes that over 70% of the volume of contracts concluded fell on 5 systemically significant banks out of 95 banks participating in the Program (SBERBANK PJSC, VTB BANK (PJSC), OTKRITIE FC BANK, PROMSVYAZBANK PJSC, SOVCOMBANK PJSC).
The regions are the leaders in terms of the volume of loan agreements concluded in 2023:
The average check for loans issued in 2023 is 21.8 million rubles, which is 2.4 times higher than the average amount of loans issued for the same period in 2022. The main increase was achieved due to the demand of SMEs for preferential investment loans.
The preferential investment lending program "1764" is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and overseen by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
