Free seminars on entrepreneurship were held in Tatarstan for schoolchildren on the national SME project
Training seminars for the development of entrepreneurial skills and competencies among schoolchildren were held in Tatarstan as part of the second stage of the republican program "School Business Start", implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In total, in 2023, more than 11 thousand children from 28 districts of the republic take part in the "School Business Start", implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship". As a result, 600 high school students who showed themselves most successfully moved on to the next round of business design. These are schoolchildren from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as from villages and small towns of the republic.
Successful entrepreneurs are directly involved in the process of teaching children. Teachers of educational institutions who accompany students at all stages of the "School Business Start" also provide assistance.
Following the seminars, teams of schoolchildren presented their own business projects. According to the experts-entrepreneurs who took direct part in their training, all the projects presented, without exception, were carried out at a professional level: from the search for a business idea to its possible practical implementation.
So, a team from the Multidisciplinary Multilingual Gymnasium No. 180 presented a platform for job search among teenagers, and from school No. 39 – a project "Step forward" for the organization of tutoring. The guys from the Maloshilninsky school offered to open a "Kotokafe", and from the Bavli school No. 2 - to make candles from natural compounds. Students from Agryz came up with their own project to conduct thematic master classes, schoolchildren from the Nurlat district proposed to create themed T-shirts, pupils of the Sviyazhsk school – ornaments made of cold porcelain, from Aksubaevsky school No. 2 - developed a project "Fairy Yarn" for the manufacture of knitted products, Buinsk schoolchildren - to create an ecological broom from used plastic bottles. Very interesting projects were also presented by teams from the science city School Innopolis and the Vysokogorsky School No. 3.
The final stage of the program will be the New Year's charity school fair, and the Business case championship, which will be held in February 2024. Those who have successfully passed the previous stage will be able to take part in it. The final meeting of school business companies is scheduled for April next year.
The School Business Start program is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national projects "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for individual Entrepreneurial Initiative" and "Modern School".
