This was reported at a seminar dedicated to entering foreign markets, which was held today at the site of the Center "My Business" with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship". The event was organized by the Export Support Center of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In his welcoming speech, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development Natalia Kondratova noted that the restrictions affected primarily entrepreneurs engaged in export activities, but entrepreneurs of the republic quickly reoriented and found new markets.
"It is gratifying that the national export development project will be continued until 2030, all the measures that were taken to support exports will be extended. Also, 15 new directions will be implemented – this includes preferential financing, subsidizing transportation costs, and product certification. We are also forming an action plan for republican support measures, the export support center is waiting for proposals from you," Natalia Kondratova said.
At the meeting with entrepreneurs, they considered the specifics of entering China, transport logistics issues that an entrepreneur needs to know in order to develop a business. There are about 2000 exporting companies in Tatarstan, most of which are representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
"This year, the Chinese market has become open again, quarantine restrictions have been lifted, and Russian entrepreneurs have resumed relations with their counterparties from China. Food producers from Tatarstan have actively started entering the Chinese market – sunflower and rapeseed oil, confectionery, dairy products are in demand. They are actively buying Russian equipment and products of petrochemical companies in China. Another direction is household chemicals," said Albina Gergert, head of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Tatarstan entrepreneurs who plan to export their products to China can take advantage of support measures within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship". This is a set of measures that will allow you to find a foreign buyer without costs, promote products, take part in exhibitions in China, register on international marketplaces, and co-finance shipping costs.
For 9 months of 2023, 1741 entrepreneurs of Tatarstan used the services of the regional export support center, 57 entrepreneurs signed export contracts worth $ 18.73 million US dollars.
