Tatarstan is among the five most active regions in attracting preferential investment loans – small and medium-sized businesses were given 2.28 billion rubles in 2022. Total in Russia, about 500 small and medium-sized companies received 37.4 billion rubles under the new program. In 2023, banks will continue to issue preferential loans to small and medium-sized businesses for investment purposes at 2.5-4% under the "1764" program. It is being implemented under the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
The joint program of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Bank of Russia and the SME Corporation was launched on August 25, 2022. Today, with the help of such support, 325 manufacturing enterprises are implementing their investment projects, which have attracted financing totaling 21.6 billion rubles with the help of the program. More than 12 billion rubles were attracted by 106 companies from the field of transportation and storage, and 3.7 billion rubles were directed to the implementation of investment projects of 60 companies from the hotel business.
Last year, the program was valid for manufacturing enterprises, as well as companies in the field of transportation and storage, hotels. In order to develop priority areas in 2023, the list was expanded to scientific, technical and architectural activities.
Entrepreneurs can get a loan of 50 million rubles at 2.5% per annum for medium-sized businesses and 4% per annum for small and micro businesses under this program from 49 banks, a list of which is published on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development and the SME Corporation. Preferential rates are valid for five years, and the loan itself can be repaid within ten.
In addition to Tatarstan, the top five included Moscow (2.77 billion rubles), St. Petersburg (1.96 billion rubles), Novosibirsk Region (1.93 billion rubles), Perm Region (1.92 billion rubles).
