Tatarstan will allocate almost 2 billion rubles to support entrepreneurs in 2023

26 January 2023, Thursday

1.9 billion rubles will be allocated from the republic's budget to support Tatarstan entrepreneurs in 2023. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shamsiev at a press conference dedicated to the results of the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship".

"This year, in agreement with the President of the Republic, the amount of funds from the budget of Tatarstan has been increased by 700 million rubles and will amount to 1.9 billion rubles," he said Airat Shamsiev.

At the expense of these funds, the provision of a wide range of support measures will continue, which is aimed at agricultural enterprises, manufacturing, export-oriented companies, young and social entrepreneurs, as well as enterprises implementing projects in the import substitution of products, and other types and spheres of entrepreneurial activity. Comprehensive support of self-employed citizens, whose number in Tatarstan has exceeded the mark of 230 thousand, will continue.

The package of measures will include preferential microfinance products, guarantees for loans and bond issues, as well as non-financial support measures and services - training programs, certification and promotion of products, including on marketplaces, exhibitions, fairs and more.

All support measures were formed based on the results of meetings with business. The Ministry will constantly analyze the current situation and, subject to changes in the Central Bank's key rate, the conditions for all of the above programs will be adjusted if necessary.

The First Deputy Minister noted that in 2022, over 6.4 billion rubles were allocated to support business in total. Including 1.2 billion came from the budget of Tatarstan, and the remaining 5.2 billion came from organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Economy.
