Free business course for women starts in Tatarstan

In November 2022, residents of Tatarstan will be able to receive a diploma of additional education and open their own business under the guidance of mentors - experienced entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the implementation of the national SME project, launches a free educational program "Women's Entrepreneurship".

The program starts in the cities of the republic on November 19 and is designed for 5 weeks of intensive classes in online and offline formats.

“Our goal is to provide future entrepreneurs with access to the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage their business, to inspire and support them. It is the knowledge, practical experience and support of mentors that make it possible to overcome the barriers existing for girls to open their own business,” the My Business Center commented.

The training will be conducted by leading practitioners and entrepreneurs of Tatarstan, business owners will act as mentors. They will not only pass on their knowledge to the participants, but also support their ideas on entering the real sector of the economy.

Participants will develop a step-by-step plan for starting a business, taking into account legal and economic aspects, the basics of financial literacy, and learn how to effectively sell and work with personnel. Girls will be introduced to the investment market, taught to create a personal brand, taking into account the individual characteristics of the participants and their projects.

The girls will take part in a transformational financial calculation game, business tours and business breakfasts where they can network and form their community to support their entrepreneurial journey.

At the end of the program, the graduation and final defense of projects will take place - the participants will present the best cases to the expert commission. All graduates will receive state diplomas on completion of the program.

Last year, 649 applications were received for participation in the program, 304 of them passed the qualifying stage, 190 successfully completed the training.

The winner of the project, Lilia Sultanova, created a board game for the company “What a meme” and significantly increased her income from 70,000 to 480,000 rubles. The winner also entered the TOP-1 in terms of sales and quality of reviews on the marketplace.

The program is implemented within the framework of the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". The organizers are the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Center "My Business" NO MCC "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan".
