The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone was held today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov. According to the results of the council, 4 new residents and 6 partners became part of the Innopolis SEZ. In total, the companies will create 153 jobs and attract 589.1 million rubles.
The Rusdronoport resident will develop an automated station for unmanned aerial systems with integrated technological solutions for takeoff and landing, storage, charging batteries and fuel, as well as operational maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles. Gemoscan, as a SEZ resident, will develop equipment and software for diagnosing animal biological fluids using machine vision and artificial intelligence technologies. According to the analyzed data, up to ten diagnoses can be preliminarily made.
Another new resident of the special zone is "ICS Platform". The specialists of this company will develop a system for group video conferencing and voting based on distributed registry technology in closed networks of any complexity with the highest degree of security and reliability of corporate communications. The status of a resident of the SEZ "Innopolis" was also received by the start-up Qummy Foodtech. The company will develop the technology of storing ready-made meals using "smart ice" for up to 180 days without loss of quality, which allows opening catering points without chefs and kitchens.
The transnational energy company Gazprom VNIIGAZ, in the status of a partner of the Innopolis SEZ, plans to create a competence center for interaction with scientific organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan. Together with them, the company will develop intelligent decision support systems for managing the technical condition and integrity of production facilities in fuel and energy companies of the Russian Federation and the CIS.
Another new SEZ partner, EnergoInnovatsii, aims to develop charging infrastructure in Innopolis and throughout Russia. The key development of the team is charging stations for electric vehicles "E-prom". BaStream, as a partner, will continue to develop a ground passenger transport survey system to reduce operating and maintenance costs. The latest identification systems and artificial intelligence are used to detect vehicle damage. The founder of the company is PJSC KamAZ.
Also among the partners of the special zone are Andromeda techspace, Test IT and the Union of Business Angel Organizations. “Andromeda is an IT accelerator for children, teenagers and beginners. The company develops its own IT platform and also hosts events on robotics, programming, 3D modeling, video game development and web design. In Innopolis, the company plans to look for professional mentors, as well as hold hackathons and project events. Test IT will develop a software testing management system. Its advantages are integrability with the maximum number of third-party systems and testing frameworks; the most comprehensive functionality; high speed of creating test models and testing due to special technical solutions. The Union of Business Angel Organizations will attract private investment in projects in the early stages of development.
“Despite the ongoing events, Innopolis is actively developing, increasing the number of companies and jobs. Moreover, we note an increasing demand for IT specialists locally in the city of Innopolis among companies - residents and partners of the special economic zone, - said Roman Shaikhutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. – Innopolis continues to grow: today, excluding new projects approved by the Supervisory Board, 324 companies operate in the special zone, which on an accrual basis created 12.5 thousand jobs, attracted 67 billion rubles of investments, received revenue in the amount of 122 billion rubles and paid 17, 2 billion rubles taxes. We will continue to work on attracting companies, including from the manufacturing sector. So, at the end of the year, at the SEZ site in the Laishevsky district, a production facility for surface mounting of boards is put into operation together with ICL, and at the site in the Verkhneuslonsky district - a technopark for small industries. Innopolis is developing in accordance with the strategy and the planned course.”
