A social entrepreneur from Tatarstan won the All-Russian competition

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia summed up the results of the VII All-Russian competition of projects in the field of social entrepreneurship "The Best Social Project of the Year". In the nomination of the best social project of a non-profit organization aimed at solving problems in the field of caring for the elderly, the project from the Republic of Tatarstan won.

More than 2,000 applications from all over the country were submitted to participate in the social entrepreneurship competition. At the federal and regional stages, the jury evaluated socially significant projects that clearly showed themselves in 2021.

The competition included 8 nominations for small and medium-sized businesses, 4 for the sector of non-profit organizations, as well as special nominations from partners.

The head of the non-profit organization from Tatarstan "Assistance" Polina Petrova won in the nomination "The best social project of a non-profit organization aimed at solving problems in the field of caring for the elderly" with a project to provide the "Nurse" service.

The project is aimed at improving the quality of life of elderly citizens, the disabled by providing a range of services and providing conditions for the longest possible stay at home. Assistance is provided to elderly citizens who have significantly or completely lost the ability to self-service, in need of long-term outside care during the day.

It should be noted that the regional stage of the competition in Tatarstan was held by the Center for Innovation in the Social Sphere of the Center "My Business".

As Tatyana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, noted, in the regions where Social Innovation Centers have been established, more systematic work is being built and the number of social entrepreneurs is increasing, which, of course, contributes to their involvement in the Competition.
