Tatarstan schools began training under the School Business Start program. The first classes this week are held throughout the country. Recall that the program will cover 12,000 schoolchildren and lay the foundations for teaching entrepreneurship in secondary schools. The organizers of the School Business Start project were the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Classes are held in the format of a business game. Schoolchildren, divided into groups of 60 people, draw up a portrait of an entrepreneur and undergo special testing, as well as present their own projects, having previously prepared a business plan and developed a PR campaign. The training will include about 200 events in Kazan, cities and regions of Tatarstan.
Thus, schoolchildren in grades 5-7 will be able to try themselves as business creators, as well as learn how to work in a team.
“We are interested in a new generation of business leaders appearing in the republic in a few years. The "School Business Start" program is laying the foundations for this process already now, forms the right image of an entrepreneur among schoolchildren, helps to master the necessary competencies in practice," said Airat Shamsiev, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Schoolchildren who successfully cope with the business game will receive in-depth training in theoretical and practical business skills at the next stage of the project. These will be training team seminars in which school companies will take part. Upon their completion, the participants will present their projects to expert entrepreneurs. Students who pass this stage will advance to the next level of the project. Before the New Year, they will take part in a charity school fair, and then a business case championship.
The final gathering of school business companies is scheduled for April 2023. It will be attended by 40 teams, in which 120 students will compete. All of them will have a unique experience.
The "School Business Start" program is implemented within the framework of the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
