More than 60 people registered as SMEs after completing the program for young entrepreneurs from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

For a month in Kazan, as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative", a free educational course was held for citizens aged 18 to 25 years old who plan to start their business "Young Business". The event was organized by the regional Ministry of Economy and the My Business Center. At the end of the course, more than 60 participants registered as SMEs.

Applications for the course were received from 667 young people, of whom 367 passed the qualifying round, 152 received certificates of participation and more than 60 people registered as SMEs.

The program was mentors by practicing experts, more than 20 entrepreneurs from the Republic of Tatarstan. They selected 25 semi-finalists, of which 7 finalists were determined by popular vote.

On September 3, the graduation program took place, where the finalists presented their business projects, the expert commission evaluated it according to 4 criteria: relevance, product development, financial model and performance on the course, as well as rewarding all participants.

The winner of the program was Ilya Anastasov, the founder of the ADONIS clothing printing studio, he increased his income from 600 thousand to 1.05 million rubles, opened 2 offices in the center of Kazan and expanded the staff to 5 employees.

2nd place was taken by Albina Vakhitova with the project of the Maktub Jewel workshop for creating author's silver jewelry, the girl reached a monthly income of 310 thousand rubles, more than 100 thousand of which was net profit and participated in 2 main fairs of the city.

3rd place - Polina Ivanova, the founder of the children's furniture and toys production, designed the production facility and began preparations for the repair and purchase of equipment.

The participants attended weekly business breakfasts and excursions to enterprises, learned how to generate ideas, work with the target audience by testing an idea or prototype of a future product for the demand of potential consumers, promote and sell their services or products, develop a personal brand, calculate a business model and attract investments.

Graduates who successfully complete their studies plan to apply for a grant from the state. Financial support from 100,000 to 500,000 rubles can be spent on renting or repairing premises, purchasing equipment, a lump sum payment, paying utility bills, and more.

The program was implemented within the framework of the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". The organizer of the program is the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Center "My Business" of the NO MCC "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan".
