Since the beginning of the year, entrepreneurs of Tatarstan have attracted almost 3.5 billion rubles of borrowed funds under "umbrella" guarantees
Tatarstan attracted 3.468 billion rubles of loans under "umbrella" guarantees. This figure was announced by Natalya Korotchenkova, Secretary of State, Deputy General Director of the SME Corporation, at a meeting with the business community of the region
More than 150 entrepreneurs of the republic gathered today at the site of the My Business Center to discuss topical issues and problems faced by business in the current economic conditions, as well as to develop proposals for their solution. Online broadcast was conducted for entrepreneurs throughout the republic.
The questions of the business community of Tatarstan were answered by Secretary of State - Deputy General Director of the SME Corporation Natalia Korotchenkova and First Deputy Minister of Economy of the region - Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship and Competition Development Airat Shamsiev. The communication took place in the format of an open dialogue.
Airat Shamsiev opened the meeting, he noted that the republic is working effectively with the federal department and finds support for its initiatives from the Corporation.
“We occupy a leading position in the country in terms of the number of requests to the services and services of the MSP.RF Digital Platform. In total, about 6,000 applications for support were received from entrepreneurs of the republic through the service,” the Deputy Minister of Economy also emphasized.
Natalia Korotchenkova began her speech with a presentation of support programs implemented by the federal agency, one of which is the mechanism for providing umbrella guarantees. In total, since the launch of a new support mechanism by the SME Corporation, entrepreneurs in the region have received 4.134 billion rubles
“This year already 472 entrepreneurs of the republic have taken advantage of our “umbrella” guarantees. In total, during the year of operation of this state support mechanism, their number reached 514. We see that the “umbrella” guarantees launched on behalf of the head of state are working. Taking on up to 50% of business risks to the bank, the Corporation helps entrepreneurs to raise funds on more favorable terms. At the same time, for young and beginning entrepreneurs, coverage can reach 90%, and for all the rest - 70% in the case of combining "umbrella" guarantees with guarantees from the Russian Geographical Society," said Natalya Korotchenkova.
Tatarstan entrepreneurs, she recalled, have several preferential loan products available for which they can use "umbrella" guarantees. Thus, under the Lending Stimulation Program (LSP), which the SME Corporation is implementing jointly with the Bank of Russia, republican business has received 3.227 billion rubles since the beginning of this year.
“Compared to the same period last year, the amount of loans issued under the PSK increased by 38%. Most of the loans under this program, 1.846 billion rubles, were issued under the PSK Investment program. 57 entrepreneurs took advantage of it,” said Natalya Korotchenkova.
She recalled that even now funds for investments are available to small and medium-sized businesses at 3-4.5% per annum. This is possible due to the combination of two programs: "PSK" and "1764". “In the combined program of the Corporation, SMEs will act as an operator. That is, we will be responsible for structuring projects and processing applications from entrepreneurs for concessional financing. Representatives of four areas will be able to apply for it: manufacturing, processing of agricultural products, logistics and hotel business. The grace period will be up to five years, the total loan term will be up to ten,” said the Deputy General Director of the SME Corporation.
She also noted the active participation of small and medium-sized businesses of Tatarstan in procurement under 223-FZ. In particular, according to Natalia Korotchenkova, the volume of purchases by the largest regional customers from SME suppliers this year increased by more than 2.5 times compared to last year's figures.
“According to the data at the end of August, the total amount of purchases by the largest regional customers this year has already exceeded 48 billion rubles. During the same time, their number exceeded 950, an increase of almost six times,” emphasized Natalia Korotchenkova.
After the presentation, the participants moved on to a block of questions. The communication took place in the format of an open dialogue. The speakers commented on over 20 questions. Among them are proposals to reduce collateral for businesses, questions about the work of the Digital Platform of the SME Corporation, the provision of places in co-working spaces for the self-employed, offset contracts and other relevant topics. A number of issues were resolved on the spot, others will be considered on a personal basis.
