The event was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and was held via videoconferencing under the chairmanship of Alexander Vdovin, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Licensing, Supervisory Activities, Accreditation and Self-Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

Regional control (supervision) bodies were invited to participate in the meeting.

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia announced that by October 1 this year it is necessary to form and send draft annual plans for scheduled inspections for approval to the prosecutor's office. At the same time, the inspection plans for 2023 will include objects that are classified as extremely high and high risk.

Inspection plans do not include:

- controlled persons from the register of accredited IT companies;

- scheduled inspections in relation to “public” schools and kindergartens (replaced by preventive visits).

A controlled person, in respect of whom a scheduled inspection is planned, has the right to apply for a preventive visit no later than 2 months before the date of its commencement. The control body agrees on the date and conducts a preventive visit no later than one month before the inspection.

Currently, relevant amendments are being prepared to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 10, 2022 No. 336 “On the features of the organization and implementation of state control (supervision), municipal control”
