Today, the leadership of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan received a delegation from the Republic of Mari El headed by the Minister of Industry, Economic Development and Trade Stanislav Krylov. The topic of the business visit was Tatarstan's experience in developing preferential territories, supporting entrepreneurship and investment projects, as well as getting to know the functionality of the Import Substitution Center.
This year, Tatarstan once again demonstrated one of the best results in creating conditions for the implementation of investment projects and launching new business support tools, taking second place in the National rating of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The meeting was opened by Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Airat Shamsiev. He spoke about the economic potential and attractiveness of the region for investors, the development of preferential territories and the benefits for residents that apply to them.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan also shared their experience in the development of industrial parks, ongoing management initiatives and solutions to support businesses in various areas, as well as tools to improve the institutional infrastructure and mechanisms to improve business activities.
Ilyas Galimov spoke about the possibilities of the "Import Substitution Center", created to mitigate the effects of sanctions pressure on the basis of the Republican Marketing Center. The mechanism of the "Import Substitution Center" makes it possible to collect information on import-substituting products manufactured in the country, to provide assistance to customers whose activities depended on the import of components, goods, raw materials and equipment in search of replacement products.
Its catalog contains proposals for manufacturers, small and medium-sized businesses that allow them to master the production of demanded products, and consists of two sections - "Register of previously purchased products" and "Substitution proposals".
The parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of experience and solutions aimed at supporting entrepreneurial activity, developing the investment attractiveness of regions and business support institutions.
