Grants up to 500 thousand rubles: the youth of Tatarstan will receive financial support from the state for the implementation of their business projects

On July 30, a free educational program “The Business of the Young” starts in Kazan: aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18 to 25 will be able to open a business under the guidance of experienced mentors and receive a grant of up to half a million rubles to implement their idea.

The program is implemented within the framework of the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives", the organizer is the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center of the NGO MCC "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The training will be held under the guidance of mentors - business owners and coaches. They will accompany participants in the implementation of business projects - from the stage of searching, evaluating an idea to presenting it to an expert commission. Graduates with development potential will receive an opportunity for state grant support from 100 to 500 thousand. Financing can be used to rent or repair premises, purchase equipment, lump-sum payments, utility bills, and more.

The program is designed for a month and consists of 8 classes: 6 face-to-face events and 2 in an online format. Expert practitioners, entrepreneurs from the Republic of Tatarstan and Moscow will act as teachers. Among them are Aidar Bulatov, founder of the Entrepreneurship Factory project, Mikhail Kuznetsov, Tolstoywear production, Regina Akhmetova, Mascot SMM agency, and others. Participants will work in teams with mentors. Additionally, business breakfasts and excursions to enterprises are planned to study relevant practices.

In 30 days, participants will learn how to generate business ideas, work with the target audience by testing an idea or prototype of a future product for potential consumers, promote and sell their services or products, develop a personal brand, calculate a business model and attract investments. All participants who successfully complete the training will receive diplomas of the established sample on the completion of the program on the basics of entrepreneurship.

At the end of 2022, the graduation and final defense of projects will take place, where the best cases will be presented before an expert commission.
