Entrepreneurs of Tatarstan received preferential financial support for 700 million rubles

Since the beginning of 2022, the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, has provided financial support to businesses in the amount of more than 700 million rubles. More than 400 business entities took advantage of concessional financing.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is constantly working on improving financial programs, taking into account the changing economic conditions and the wishes of the entrepreneurs themselves and expert business communities. Thus, along with the latest reduction in the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the interest rates of microloans have been reduced. The decision made it possible to increase the availability of concessional financing for business development in Tatarstan.

Now the Fund's portfolio includes 6 microfinance products, with an interest rate of 0.1 to 5.5% per annum. Microloans cover all areas of entrepreneurial activity - social entrepreneurs, exporters, self-employed, farmers, manufacturing enterprises and others.

Preferential microfinance allows small companies, micro businesses and even start-ups to receive up to 5 million rubles at a reduced rate for a period of no more than three years. The support is provided within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Businesses and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".

If we talk about the demand for the products themselves, now the largest number of applications from businesses comes under the Assistance program, designed for all SMEs, regardless of the profile of activity and the purpose of attracting debt financing. Also, a large volume of applications comes from self-employed citizens of the republic, for them the conditions of a microloan provide for a preferential rate of 5.5% per annum.

The conditions of some microfinance products imply the presence of collateral, for those entrepreneurs who do not have their own funds to secure a microloan, support is provided by the Guarantee Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The preferential product "Support - 2022" is also included in the republican package of measures and implies the zeroing of the commission in the first 6 months and an increased guarantee amount to 70 million rubles with a reduced remuneration rate from 1% to 0.5%, charged after 6 months.
