Tatarstan enterprises applied for preferential loans for import purchases for 2 billion

Enterprises of Tatarstan took advantage of the program of concessional lending for purchases of priority products for imports. 7 applications were submitted to banks from enterprises of the republic for a total amount of about 2 billion rubles, 1 loan was issued for 76 million rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Government House with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

With the key rate of the Central Bank of 9.5%, the preferential rate is 5.85%.

“The rate is much lower than the key rate, sectoral ministries and municipalities need to inform enterprises and organizations about the possibility of using this support measure,” the minister stressed.

Recall that in May the Russian Government decided to support the purchase of imported products that are important for the economy and citizens. Importers can take advantage of a special concessional lending program. The list of priority products, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, includes food products, medicines, pharmaceutical products, vehicles, building materials, various machine tools, agricultural machinery, and electronics.
