Amendments have been made to the law on the development of small and medium-sized businesses (dated July 24, 2007 No. 209-FZ), which soften the conditions for providing state support to entrepreneurs.
Recall that, according to the current rules, if an SME has violated the procedure and conditions for obtaining state support, then it loses the right to receive it again for three years.
The introduction of changes reduces the ban for a period of up to 1 year in cases where the violation on the part of the entrepreneur was insignificant and eliminated within the established timeframe in agreement with the body or organization that provided support.
If the violation on the part of the entrepreneur is associated with the misuse of funds or the provision of false information and documents, then the ban on state support will still be 3 years.
The new rules will come into force on December 26, 2022.
