Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution on expanding the list of priority imported products, for the purchase of which importers can receive a loan at a reduced rate.

This solution will help enterprises reduce operating costs and arrange the supply of necessary goods, components and equipment.

The updated list includes nuts, coffee, cocoa beans, jams, fruit purees, canned fruits, powdered milk formulas for baby food, additional names of medicines and certain types of agricultural equipment.

A special program of concessional lending for purchases of priority imported products was launched in May. With its help, importers can take out a loan at a rate of no more than 30% of the key rate of the Central Bank plus three percentage points - now it is about 5.8%. The difference is compensated to banks by subsidies from the federal budget. For such purposes, the government previously allocated more than 37 billion rubles.

The period for which importers can receive funds depends on the purpose of the loan. For the purchase of raw materials and components, the preferential rate will be valid for one year, for equipment and means of production - three years.
