Since the beginning of the year, the number of entrepreneurs in Tatarstan has increased by 6.4 thousand.

There are 166,765 small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan, according to the Federal Tax Service as of June 1. The growth rate by the beginning of the year is 104% or 6,353 SMEs. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov spoke about this at a meeting in the Government House with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The minister noted that the number of people employed in small and medium-sized businesses, excluding the self-employed, remained at the level of the beginning of this year and amounted to 610,317 people.

“The main factors that ensure the preservation of employment in small and medium-sized businesses: the first is the further development of the industrial parks of the republic; the second is the maximum use of federal and republican anti-crisis measures of financial and non-financial support; the third factor is the expansion of the sales market for the manufactured products,” the minister said.

The minister recalled that now the maximum rate for the republican anti-crisis programs is 5.5% per annum.

For financial programs, 39 applications for 112 million rubles were submitted during the week, 26 applications for the amount of 89.8 million rubles were approved.

In terms of involving entrepreneurs in measures of indirect financial support, 359 applications were submitted by entrepreneurs during the week. In particular, it is possible to receive 37 measures to support entrepreneurs, implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". This includes: placement of products on international and Russian electronic trading platforms; preparation of business plans necessary for participation in federal support programs Bortnik Fund, Monotown Fund and others; participation in Russian and international exhibitions; conducting an information campaign for business in the media and social networks; product certification and many others.
