The delegation of Tatarstan takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
The anniversary XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2022) has started today in St. Petersburg and will run until June 18.
Traditionally, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by President Rustam Minnikhanov, takes part in the forum. From the Ministry of Economy, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov participates in the forum.
The main theme of SPIEF 2022 is "New World - New Opportunities". Politicians of Russia and the world, representatives of the business community, and experts will discuss how to ensure sustainable economic development under the new conditions.
On the first day of the forum, a meeting was held with the Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that Tatarstan and the Arkhangelsk region have experience of working together.
The parties also discussed the possibilities and volumes of mutual trade. In particular, Tatarstan is interested in expanding the supply of trucks, shipbuilding products, pharmaceutical products, etc. An important area is digitalization.
In conclusion, an action plan for 2022-2024 was signed to implement the agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and socio-cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region.
After that, Rustam Minnikhanov met with Alexei Komisarov, General Director of ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities". Within the framework of the meeting, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the ANO "Russia - the Land of Opportunities".
The essence of the agreement is the support of projects and initiatives that provide opportunities for personal and professional self-realization of young citizens in various fields, the creation of new mechanisms for identifying and supporting talents, and the dissemination of best practices in the field of identifying and developing talents.
More than 252 thousand Tatarstan residents have already taken part in its projects and 1801 have become winners of competitions and olympiads. The platform "Russia - the Land of Opportunities" is a chance to prove oneself, to assess one's own potential.
