Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting of the working group on sustainable development of the economy with the participation of municipal districts in an offsite format - representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan paid a working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, where they examined the backbone enterprises, discussed with the management companies current work in the face of sanctions and development plans.
During the visit, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited five backbone organizations of the Russian economy - KAMAZ PJSC, NCTZ, Hayer, RIAT OJSC, Naberezhnye Chelny Cardboard and Paper Plant named after S.P. Titov. Enterprises continue to manufacture products using all available resources and are conducting a comprehensive program of import substitution of components from unfriendly countries.
The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that the economy in the current conditions depends on the uninterrupted operation of backbone enterprises of the federal and republican levels. In total, there are 332 backbone organizations in Tatarstan, including 60 federal ones. They form half of the republic's economy.
During the visit, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov listened to plans to localize production and switch to Russian suppliers.
Visits to enterprises are held as part of the work of the Operational Headquarters to ensure the sustainable development of the economy. The outline of the work of the operational headquarters includes a discussion of the urgent problems faced by enterprises, the development of measures to provide assistance.
“In the current conditions, it is important that backbone enterprises make the most of federal support measures. We are looking at how these support measures are being implemented and how they can be improved,” the minister stressed.
As part of the meeting of the working group, they discussed measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, the development and promotion of electronic commerce, work on import substitution on the resources of the Republican Marketing Center.
Another issue of the meeting was the change in the category of the land plot, the type of permitted use of the land plot for the placement of consumer services for the population, recreation and recreation in the field of eco-tourism.
In conclusion, the minister instructed the members of the working group to keep under control issues in 5 main areas for ensuring sustainable economic development: providing the population with basic socially significant goods; maintaining employment of the population; uninterrupted work of backbone organizations; implementation of investment projects; and adaptation of small and medium-sized businesses to new conditions.
