An elevator worth 2.4 billion rubles will be built in Tatarstan
Today, a solemn ceremony was held in Tatarstan to launch the construction of an elevator for LLC Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt of the August-Agro company. The event was opened by the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. He also visited other residents of the Sviyazhsk Interregional Multimodal Logistics Center (SMMLC) - a new warehouse complex of the Tatarstan Internet retailer KazanExpress and a plant for the production of premium-class paving slabs of Vybor-Povolzhye LLC.
The investment project for the construction of the Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt elevator complex, worth 2.4 billion rubles, is being implemented by the resident company of the SMMLC August-Agro. The August-Agro group of companies is one of the largest agricultural producers in Tatarstan and has been operating in the republic since 2018.
The design capacity of the elevator will be 112.5 thousand tons of one-time grain storage. The choice of the SMMLC as the location of the facility will allow grain logistics to be carried out by road, rail and water transport. A feature of the Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt elevator will be a high loading speed of 700 tons per hour. As a result, the period of grain loading on river-sea vessels and trains will be no more than 10 hours.
Construction will take place in several stages. It is assumed that the launch of the first stage will take place in September 2023, the company plans to reach the design capacity by 2025. The implementation of the project will provide additional employment for almost 90 people.
Recall that the total area of the Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center is 244 hectares, 110 hectares of which are located in the industrial park of the same name. The logistics center was created on the territory of the Zelenodolsk TASED, it has an industrial and developed transport infrastructure, including railway, water and road communications. In addition, the TASED status allows residents to apply for a set of federal and republican support measures. 3 residents are already carrying out construction work on the territory of the industrial park.
The Tatarstan marketplace KazanExpress is completing the construction of the first building of a new fulfillment center warehouse. Construction readiness of the object - 90%. According to the company, the completion of construction work is planned for the third quarter of 2022. In the warehouse area, the assembly of internal floors and racks has already begun. Finishing work is underway in the administrative block, which will house locker rooms, a canteen and offices for employees. The useful area of the facility will be 120 thousand square meters. meters.
The first phase of the new logo center will provide more than three thousand jobs. In the future, it is planned to build seven more warehouse buildings with a usable area of 1 million square meters.
Another resident, Vybor-Povolzhye LLC, is implementing an investment project worth 1.8 billion rubles to build a plant for the production of premium paving slabs. The Resident is a member of the Vybor LLC group of companies, which occupies a leading position in the production of paving slabs in Russia. The construction readiness of the facility is 75%; upon its completion, over 100 jobs will be created.
The opening and further development of the industrial park "Sviyazhsk Interregional Multimodal Logistics Center" will become a driver for the economy of the Zelenodolsk region, provide residents of the municipality with high-tech jobs, reducing commuting. Now the leadership of the republic, together with the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan, is working on the construction of engineering and road infrastructure facilities necessary for the effective operation of the industrial park. The Ministry is also implementing a set of measures aimed at supporting residents and management companies of industrial parks.
