According to the Federal Tax Service, the number of self-employed in Russia has reached 5 million, in the Republic of Tatarstan their number exceeds 195 thousand. The daily increase in Russia is 8.5 thousand people. Since the start of the experiment in 2019, self-employed countries have registered 1.1 trillion rubles in income and paid 40 billion rubles in taxes. The total income of the self-employed per day is more than 2 billion rubles.
According to the Federal Tax Service of Russia, the average age of the self-employed is 35 years. The youngest is 14 years old, and the oldest self-employed is 94 years old.
Most of the self-employed are registered in Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk, Rostov, Samara, Novosibirsk Regions and Bashkortostan.
The main activities of the self-employed are: taxi services, delivery of goods, apartment rental, repair and marketing services, as well as the sale of products of their own production.
The most highly paid professions are IT-specialist, financier, lawyer, consultant, designer, builder.
The maximum income per self-employed person is noted in Moscow, the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Kaluga, Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Sakhalin Regions.
More than a third of all self-employed income is recorded through partner software products without using the My Tax application. The professional income tax has become the foundation for the new project "Automated Simplified Taxation System", which starts on July 1, 2022, including in the Republic of Tatarstan.
