Business can get loans for the purchase of imported products at 6.3%

Among the measures to address the issues of purchasing imported products, there is a program of preferential lending for import purchases according to the approved list of priority products (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 18, 2022 No. 895). This was told by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

With the current key rate of the Central Bank of 11%, the preferential rate is 6.3%. Under this program, 2 applications were submitted to banks this week from enterprises of the republic for a total amount of 706 million rubles.

The list includes imported products used for agricultural and industrial purposes. Including food products, medicines, pharmaceutical products, vehicles, building materials, various machine tools, agricultural machinery, electronics.

In addition, to facilitate import deliveries of critical components and equipment, by using alternative logistics and financial passages, a Situation Center was formed on the basis of the Information and Analytical Center for Foreign Trade Activities, subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. This center provides assistance to businesses in matters of import substitution: problems with payments, logistics, and the purchase of foreign products.

The work is carried out individually with each enterprise, using partner banks of the specified situational center in terms of making payments around the world.
