1 June 2022, Wednesday

On Children's Day, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan tells about everything that is done for young Tatarstan citizens within the framework of national projects.

Families with children are the center of attention of the regional project "Financial support for families with the birth of children" of the national project "Demography".

The main measure of support is maternity (family) capital, which since 2020 is received by families in which the first child has appeared. The amount of maternity capital is annually indexed in accordance with the level of inflation.

In addition to family capital, the Republic of Tatarstan provides for a wide package of measures to support families raising children. This year, 6.2 billion rubles will be allocated for these support measures, including:

28.5 thousand families will receive payments at birth (adoption) of the first child;

120,000 parents will be compensated part of the parental fee for kindergarten;

2,000 women living in rural areas will receive lump-sum payments at the birth of their first, third child;

families raising three or more simultaneously born children will receive benefits;

children of the first 3 years of life will be provided with special baby food;

mothers awarded with the Ana Dany-Maternal Glory medal will receive a one-time reward of 10,000 rubles; parents awarded the Order of Parental Glory - 100 thousand rubles.

The provision of various categories of payments is not the only “childish issue” of Russia's national projects.

The creation of a new educational infrastructure, the development of additional education centers, equipping colleges with modern equipment, active participation in the volunteer movement, and patriotic education are the main initiatives of the Education national project, for which 472 million rubles will be allocated in 2022 in Tatarstan.

One of the regional initiatives of the Republic of Tatarstan is the annual provision of grants for education in the field of information technology, provided to students of the first-fourth year of study at the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in the direction of "Software Engineering". This year, the total amount provided for these grants is 22.7 million rubles.

Information about the competitive selection for a grant is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan digital.tatarstan.ru.

Raising a healthy young generation is the main objective of the regional project "Development of Children's Health, including the Creation of a Modern Infrastructure for Providing Medical Care" of the national project "Health", for the implementation of which comfortable spaces are organized in children's clinics, new children's hospitals are being built to ensure the joint stay of children and parents, preventive examinations of adolescents are carried out, specialists in the field of perinatology, neonatology and pediatrics improve their skills.

The opportunity to visit museums, theaters, exhibitions, concerts and watch domestic films is provided by the Pushkin Card, provided within the framework of the national project "Culture". Any Russian citizen from 14 to 22 years old can apply for a Pushkin card; in 2022, the card limit is 5,000 rubles.

Also, within the framework of the national project "Culture", schoolchildren aged 12 to 17 can spend two summer weeks free of charge at one of the shifts of the military-patriotic camp "Country of Heroes".

Every year the regions where such thematic shifts take place change. In the summer of 2022, the Country of Heroes will raise its flag in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kirov Region, the Republic of Udmurtia, the Samara Region and the Republic of Mordovia. You can learn more about this project, as well as about the conditions for participation, get acquainted with the schedule of shifts and apply on the website countryheroes.rf.
