250 self-employed presented their products at fairs organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan
On the weekend, fairs of products of the self-employed of the republic were held on the streets of Kazan. The events dedicated to the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship were held with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan and allowed 250 self-employed people in the region to sell handicraft products at trade places provided by the department free of charge.
From May 26 to May 29, residents and guests of the capital could join the festive program on the streets of the city and purchase local products at the open market. 250 exhibitors from all over the country presented their products - from family carpentry products to Buin socks and farm products. A feature of the exhibition were products with a national flavor: jewelry, bags, clothes and sweets. Handicraft goods were presented by residents of the republic from Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga, Alekseevsk and other regions.
Fairs have become an opportunity for self-employed residents of the republic not only to talk about their products, but also to find new customers. For the self-employed, free trade places were provided, where they could present and sell their products. During the days of the events, the proceeds of the participants amounted to almost 400 thousand rubles.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was held as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
Thanks to the national SME project, the Ministry, together with subordinate business support institutions, also provides self-employed citizens with concessional financing, grants, guarantees and other popular support measures necessary for comfortable and confident business.
This year, the concessional financing program was included in the republican package of measures to support business in the face of sanctions pressure. The Self-Employed 2022 product provides for a preferential interest rate of 5.5 per annum, up to 500,000 rubles for up to 2 years, and is available to self-employed citizens registered in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also this year, the number of training programs for payers of the “Tax on Professional Income” has been increased, for the sale of products of the self-employed, fair events with free provision of trading places will be held throughout the country throughout the year, marketing support and support will be provided when bringing products of the self-employed to marketplaces.
