The amount of guarantees provided by the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan this year exceeded one billion rubles

This is a record figure for the entire 10 years of existence of the regional Garfund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of the volume of issued guarantees at the beginning of the year and exceeds the amount of guarantees by 60.5% compared to June 1, 2021.

Entrepreneurs of Tatarstan since the beginning of 2022 received 238 guarantees, which is 40.8% more than in the same period last year. Agricultural enterprises, manufacturing, construction and logistics companies, as well as other industries (trade, services, etc.) have used the Fund's services. The purpose of attracting financing for 89.9% of the business was the replenishment of working capital.

“Guarantee support is provided for those entrepreneurs who do not have sufficient collateral. Thanks to the guarantee of the fund, since the beginning of the year, small and medium-sized enterprises of Tatarstan have been able to attract more than 2.8 billion rubles of debt financing for business development. The most demanded is the new preferential product "Support 2022", which is aimed at helping entrepreneurs in the face of sanctions. It accounts for about half of the number of guarantees provided by us this year, ”said Rustem Mukhamedshin, director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The new preferential product “Support 2022” has been in effect since March 15, 2022 and has been included in the republican set of measures to support entrepreneurs in the face of sanctions pressure. The maximum guarantee amount of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan for this product is 70 million rubles. At the same time, the commission for the provided guarantee was reduced by 2 times - to 0.5%, and the possibility of deferring the payment of remuneration for 6 months is also provided.
