The number of entrepreneurs in Tatarstan increased by more than 3% this year

In Tatarstan, there are more than 165 thousand small and medium-sized businesses, according to the Federal Tax Service, as of May 1, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said at a traditional meeting on Saturday in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, speaking with a report on the provision sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The growth rate by the beginning of the year is 103.4% or 5.5 thousand units. “In the current situation, the task is to maintain growth rates, to ensure the adaptation of small and medium-sized businesses to the conditions of sanctions pressure,” the minister said.

He stressed that entrepreneurs need to make maximum use of a set of financial and non-financial support measures, including federal programs for concessional lending, a republican set of financial and non-financial measures, tax preferences and financial programs for residents of industrial parks, a moratorium on inspections, and the use of resources of the Republican Marketing Center .

As of May 13, entrepreneurs have approved 2.3 thousand applications for federal and republican support measures in the amount of 25.3 billion rubles.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov recalled that in Tatarstan, as well as throughout Russia, there is a moratorium on scheduled business inspections by control and supervisory authorities at all levels - federal, regional and municipal. Scheduled inspections have been retained only for a closed list of control objects for some types.

“Over the 2 months of the moratorium, the number of inspections of republican entrepreneurs by regional and municipal control bodies has decreased 11 times compared to January-February of the current year. Since March 10, the date the moratorium was introduced, there have been no complaints about its violation in the Republic of Tatarstan,” the minister said.
