Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the celebrations dedicated to the Victory Day. In Zelenodolsk, the head of the Ministry of Economy, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, congratulated veterans and residents of the city on the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov read out the congratulations of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, noting that the contribution of the inhabitants of the republic to the Great Victory is great and will live in the memory of many generations of Tatarstan residents.
“I sincerely wish the war and labor veterans health and well-being, and all the heirs of the military and labor glory of our warrior people, the working people, new successes in strengthening the defense capability, economic and cultural development of the country,” the minister said.
A solemn rally dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was organized in Zelenodolsk. The memory of all the fallen at the front was honored with a minute of silence. At the end of the rally, the Victory Parade took place. Cadets and Suvorovites, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Yunarmiya, guardsmen and nurses marched in a solemn march. In addition, wreaths and flowers were laid at the Eternal Flame memorial.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ildar Gilmutdinov, deputy chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yury Kamaltynov, head of the Zelenodolsky district Mikhail Afanasyev also took part in the celebration.
