7 May 2022, Saturday

In the Republic of Tatarstan, there is a stable situation in the food market. A slight increase in retail sales of a number of products is recorded, associated with the beginning of the summer season. The volume of basic goods in retail chains and distribution centers is sufficient to meet demand. The food supply of the population of the republic is under the constant control of the working group of the Operational Headquarters.

This was stated today at a republican meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin.

Speaking about ensuring the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the head of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized that in order to ensure further stability of commodity markets, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and municipalities, needs to quickly work out the possibilities of timely delivery of basic socially significant goods.

As for the labor market, the dynamics of indicators in the republic for the week is as follows. The number of registered unemployed as of May 6 is 10948 people.

In 12 municipalities, a slight increase in the number of unemployed citizens is observed over the week. It is necessary to take measures to prevent the growth of unemployment, to use available vacancies for this, said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

He specified at the same time that during the week there has been an increase in the number of part-time workers and those who are idle.

A number of enterprises are already participating in the implementation of additional measures to support employment: this is the receipt of subsidies for partial compensation of wages in the organization of temporary employment; receiving a subsidy for partial wages when organizing temporary work for those at risk of dismissal.

Monitoring of backbone organizations also continues in the republic. Measures are being taken to ensure capacity utilization and build new cooperation chains.

The minister noted that ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of goods is one of the important elements for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of enterprises and organizations. In the republic, the annual volume of transportation is about 120 million tons of cargo. The largest volume of traffic falls on road transport - 59%, railway - 12.2%, water - 23.6%, air - 4.9%.

Currently, the country is undergoing a restructuring of logistics chains - cargo transportation from the Moscow hub and the northwestern federal district has been reduced by an average of 15% and is redistributed to other regions, which significantly increases the mileage of transportation.

All this work involves 36 large trucking companies of the republic, which employ more than 15 thousand people. In order to ensure the rhythm of cargo deliveries for enterprises and organizations, taking into account the existing vehicle fleet, the carriers of the republic need to address the issue of updating equipment and spare parts that were previously purchased in unfriendly countries, the minister recalled.

As for preferential loans to backbone industrial and agro-industrial enterprises for the week, 10.5 billion rubles were approved. Issued for the week 7.9 billion rubles.

For organizations that are not related to small and medium-sized businesses, there is also a mechanism for adapting interest rates on loans with a floating rate. This support measure was used by 27 companies that reissued loans for 10 billion rubles, including 10 organizations for 4.4 billion rubles in a week.

The issue of import substitution (deliveries of imported raw materials, materials and components) remains relevant. Today, large enterprises of the republic have organized work on import substitution.

At the same time, for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as public sector organizations, it is necessary to make maximum use of the RMC resources to replace imported goods from unfriendly countries.

Since March 2022, public sector organizations have made purchases in the amount of 3.4 billion rubles, of which 2.4 billion rubles, or more than 70%, fall to friendly countries, 1 billion rubles, or 29.4%, to unfriendly countries.
