The Government of the Russian Federation amended the rules for informing citizens about the possibility of obtaining social support measures

On March 25, 2022, the Government of the Russian Federation adopted Decree No. 471, which amended the Rules for informing a citizen about the possibility of receiving social protection measures (support), social services provided as part of social services and state social assistance, other social guarantees and payments.

Thus, the possibility of the applicant's choice of the method of informing about the right to receive social protection measures (support), social guarantees and payments that arises in connection with life circumstances is excluded.

Citizens will be able to obtain information about such measures through a personal account on the State Services portal, by a specially created single telephone number, or by visiting state bodies in person.

At the same time, proactive informing a citizen, with his consent, will be carried out automatically using only a personal account on the State Services portal.

Citizens can receive a special code and telephone numbers for obtaining relevant information when they personally visit the offices of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation until June 1, 2023.
