23 thousand Tatarstan sellers on marketplaces recorded in 2021

Within the framework of the board, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that an important factor for expanding the sales market for entrepreneurs is the development of electronic commerce.

“The number of Tatarstan sellers in 2021 on the leading marketplaces (Wildberry, Ozone, eBay, Yandex.Market, KazanExpress, AlliExpress) exceeded 23 thousand. But this is only 7% of all SMEs and self-employed registered in Tatarstan. At the same time, according to experts (Data Insight), at least 20% of them could now successfully trade on marketplaces,” the minister said.

In this regard, the awareness of entrepreneurs will be increased and their participation in training events will be increased, as well as the development of support measures for SMEs.
