According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, preferential loans under the FLR 3.0 program have supported more than 26,000 companies and helped save about 650,000 jobs. The second phase of the FLR 3.0 program was launched on November 1 as an anti-crisis measure to support business during non-working days. Tatarstan is among the leaders in terms of the amount of support received by entrepreneurs under the FLR 3.0 program.

During the two months of the program, Russian business received 88.7 billion rubles of concessional loans. Of these, 4.37 billion rubles of support falls on the share of the Republic of Tatarstan, where 1,163 entrepreneurs took advantage of the preferential lending program.

Entrepreneurs from Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Sverdlovsk, Rostov, Samara and Chelyabinsk regions received the largest amount of support.

In 2021, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out large-scale work to provide targeted information to businesses about existing federal and regional support programs, as well as assistance in preparing the necessary documents.

In addition, as part of the second stage of FLR 3.0, for 13.5 thousand Russian companies that issued loans in the spring-summer of 2021, at the first stage of the program, the monthly financial burden was reduced by extending the loan repayment period to 1 year.

Also, in order to expand access to bank loans, the mechanism of "umbrella" guarantees was also launched last fall. With its help, small and medium-sized businesses were able to additionally raise over 25 billion rubles. It is expected that this support measure, implemented as part of the national SME project under the supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, will help businesses receive at least 600 billion rubles of funding by 2024.
