In 2021, the volume of export contracts concluded with the support of the ESC increased by 252%

In 2021, with the assistance of the Export Support Center (ESC) of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, 70 small and medium-sized businesses signed export contracts worth $32 million. The increase in the volume of supported exports amounted to 252% compared to last year.

At the same time, 31 entrepreneurs had not previously carried out export activities. The number of countries to which SMEs are exported with the support of the ESC has increased to 49.

In total, since the beginning of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives", with the assistance of the ESC, 244 entrepreneurs from the republic have concluded export contracts. The total volume of exports of Tatarstan producers supported by the Export Support Center amounted to more than $65 million.

In the center for export-oriented entrepreneurs, assistance is available in bringing products in line with the requirements necessary for exporting goods abroad, services are provided for placement on international electronic trading platforms. In the center, entrepreneurs can get advice on foreign economic activity by attracting third-party specialized experts, as well as support in organizing participation in international exhibitions and fairs and other services provided by the Center for Economic Development.

Also, the ESC, together with the Russian Export Center and representatives of the largest e-commerce sites, conducts training for entrepreneurs of the republic on the placement and sale of products in the Internet space, allowing them to find buyers outside the country. The electronic trading channel has become one of the promising and effective tools for expanding sales markets in the international arena, especially during the crisis caused by the pandemic.
