Self-employed people from all over the republic presented their own products at New Year's fairs in three cities of the region. Most of the fair buyers purchased the goods as holiday gifts.

Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in terms of the number of registered self-employed. Specialized fairs are held in the republic on a regular basis to assist in the sale of their products and popularization of the tax regime.

New Year's fairs for the self-employed came from December 10 to December 25 in Naberezhnye Chelny, Bavly and Nizhnekamsk. About 130 self-employed residents of the region presented their goods and products – these are experienced and novice entrepreneurs applying a special tax regime from Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Yelabuga, Alekseevsk and Leninogorsk. Fairs have become an opportunity for self-employed residents of the republic not only to talk about their products, but also to find new customers and partners.

Visitors of the events purchased handmade products for the holidays – jam, homemade cheese, pastilles, sweets and craft souvenirs - jewelry, toys, knitted, stone and wooden products, candles. In 10 days, the participants of the New Year's fairs jointly earned more than 800 thousand rubles.

Specialized fairs are organized by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan for the development and popularization of the institute of self-employment, as well as solving the issue of organizing and providing additional platforms for business promotion and product sales.
