A new digital platform is being tested in Tatarstan to provide measures to support the business of the republic

Tatarstan has become a participant in a new pilot project in the field of digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses. The Republic will become one of the first regions of Russia whose advanced digital services and solutions in the field of public administration will be integrated into the federal platform.

Currently, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan, is continuously working to simplify the receipt of state support measures and services by SMEs. Now experts are testing a new digital platform to provide measures to support the business of the republic.

The functionality of the service involves the transfer of all subsidies and support measures that SMEs can apply for into digital form. So, in the online mode, it will be possible to receive such services as subsidizing the interest rate on loans, micro-loan financing, loan guarantees and a number of other measures. The new services will be available in 2022 on a proven platform created by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the future, the services provided on the regional platform will be integrated into the federal platform developed by the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME Corporation). It is planned that the new federal digital platform will become a single point of access to all business support measures in the country – not only state, but also commercial. Integration of regional support measures will first be tested in several regions of the Russian Federation, and then made a federal service.

There are about 5.6 million entrepreneurs in Russia, 159 thousand of them operate in Tatarstan. According to the results of 2021, 19 thousand representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the republic took advantage of support measures.
