The WEB.RF will finance the construction of a road to the production of refrigeration equipment in Nizhnekamsk

Single-Industry Towns Development Fund (WEB.RF) will finance the construction of an access road to the company for the production of refrigeration equipment "Smart Machines" in the single-industry city of Nizhnekamsk of the Republic of Tatarstan. The amount of funds allocated by the Fund will amount to about 80 million rubles. As a result of the implementation of the investment project, 300 jobs will be created. 

"Our priority task in the development of single-industry towns is to create favorable conditions for attracting investment, ensuring socio-economic growth and creating comfortable conditions for the life of the population. To this end, Tatarstan successfully cooperates with the Fund in the implementation of major investment projects in the territory of single-industry towns of the republic. Another project of our resident "Smart Machines" will receive state support from the Fund, which will allow the project to be implemented within the specified time frame and provide Nizhnekamsk with high-tech production and new jobs," said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.

The construction of a highway at the expense of the Single-industry town Development Fund will ensure not only transport accessibility of production, but also contribute to the development of the 2nd stage of the Nizhnekamsk Industrial Park.

The total cost of road construction is 135 million rubles. 

Let us recall that in the summer of 2021, the company "Smart Machines" LLC received 240 million rubles on the line SINGLE-INDUSTRY CITY Foundation.RF for the purchase of the necessary technological equipment, with the help of which single-door and two-door cooling cabinets will be manufactured in production. According to the results of the implementation of the investment project, the capacity of the enterprise will be 30 thousand refrigerators per year.

The Government of the Russian Federation, as part of the reform of development institutions, decided to liquidate the Single-Industry Towns Development Fund in 2021. To date, SINGLE-INDUSTRY TOWNS.RF continues to accept applications until the actual transfer of obligations to WEB.RF. Those projects that the Fund will not have time to finance will be submitted to the state corporation for consideration.

The Single-Industry Towns Development Fund is part of the Group WEB.RF, whose activities are aimed at achieving national development goals.
