In the report, the Minister noted that in 2020, enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan showed high adaptability to work in new conditions. This was facilitated by anti-crisis federal and republican support measures, special programs for the development of enterprises and the transition to remote operation.

Innovative infrastructure has also been created in the republic - special economic zones "Alabuga" and "Innopolis", the largest technopolis in Europe "Khimgrad" and technoparks "Idea" and "IT Park". Residents of these sites generate innovations every year, they have created thousands of high-tech jobs.

"Serious reserves for the growth of our economy are laid down in the intellectual component. It was possible to maintain favorable conditions for increasing innovation activity in the Republic of Tatarstan, thanks to the availability of modern innovation infrastructure, the provision of active state support and the development of the intellectual property market.

So, despite all the difficulties of 2020, the region managed to keep the volume of shipped innovative products almost at the same level.
