The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan helps residents of industrial parks
On November 17, a press tour to the Nizhnekamsk Industrial Park took place, during which journalists got acquainted with the activities of residents, their products, and also saw how republican support measures help in the development and expansion of business.
Industrial parks have been created in almost every district of the republic. Their total area exceeds 2 thousand hectares. Industrial parks have more than 1.5 thousand residents, who have created about 40 thousand jobs. Such data was provided by Emil Khismatov, Deputy of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Competition Development of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, during a press tour organized for journalists.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has developed a concept for the development of industrial parks with a load below 70%, which was approved by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Within the framework of the concept, residents of industrial parks can count on tax preferences for up to 10 years in the form of exemption from payment of transport and property taxes, reduction of the rate under the simplified taxation system. Residents can also take advantage of the following state support measures: reimburse part of the electricity costs, get a Construction loan for 30 million rubles for the construction of engineering and road infrastructure, a preferential micro-loan at 4.5% per annum.
Director of the management company of the industrial park "Nizhnekamsk" Konstantin Puchkin spoke about the development of the infrastructure site. The industrial park was created in 2018 at the expense of the federal and republican budgets. Currently, 13 residents are operating here. There are plans to expand the industrial park by 20 hectares for further growth. Now 300 people work at the industrial park enterprises, by the end of 2022, 1.5 thousand jobs will be created on the territory of the industrial park, thus the number of employed will increase fivefold.
Thanks to the Construction loan from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, three enterprises of the Nizhnekamsk industrial park are expanding production – building new buildings. Bakelite company produces pipe insulation and profiles made of foamed polyethylene. Now the company employs 20 people. The company took advantage of the republican support measure, plans to build a second production building, and for these purposes received a loan in the amount of 27.5 million rubles.
"What is the main advantage of the loan from the Ministry of Economy is low interest rates, which makes it possible for further business development, will significantly increase production. Such assistance is very important for entrepreneurs who want to develop and expand their production facilities," said the director of the company Faniyar Zakirov.
The resident company of OOO "Simple" produces polypropylene pipes; the company received a loan in the amount of 15 million rubles, which allowed it to begin construction of the second stage of the production premises. The company "Python-Kama" is engaged in the manufacture of busbars and current pipelines, and soon plans to improve the infrastructure on the territory of its enterprise.
The support measures were developed in order to increase the efficiency of industrial parks and equalize competitive opportunities between parks located in rural areas and large cities, where business activity is much higher.
Management companies and residents who have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan can take advantage of the benefits. Currently, the Ministry is doing a lot of work on the accreditation of industrial parks.
