The All-Russian population Census ends on November 14. Today in IA "Tatar-inform" held a press conference dedicated to the final stage of the event in the republic. One of the speakers of the conference was the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan - Head of Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring Roman Amirkhanov. He explained to Tatarstan citizens why they need to take part in the census.
In his speech, Roman Amirkhanov recalled that there are 3 days left before the completion of the All-Russian Census. In this regard, the Deputy Minister urged citizens who did not have time to register to show a civic position and take part in the census. He also added that participation in the event will allow residents of Tatarstan to contribute to the socio-economic development of the republic, as the data obtained will form the basis for the development of national projects and social programs.
"The collected information will help to understand how many kindergartens, hospitals, paramedic stations, libraries, museums, and clubs, educational institutions need to be built in which area. The census is coming to an end, but a new, no less important work is beginning - processing the data obtained during the census and summing up the results that will allow us to assess demographic changes over time since the previous census," the Deputy minister said.
The Deputy Minister thanked the scribes for their well-advised work, because they have been working for a month and continue to work in conditions of the spread of coronavirus infection.
He noted that the organization and conduct of the census became possible thanks to the effective coordination of actions of municipalities, departments, institutions and services in the Republic of Tatarstan. All conditions have been created in the republic for the successful conduct of the census, technologies have been used that are as open and understandable to every citizen as possible: you can take the census in the traditional way when the census taker comes home, at census sites or on the website of Public Services.
The All-Russian Population Census takes place in Russia from October 15 to November 14. At the press conference, it was reported that the first results of the census will be known in early 2022.
