A few years ago, it was believed that not everyone could become an entrepreneur. Many economic and social factors served as an obstacle to this, but the most important obstacle was the lack of knowledge. If a person was not reputed to be an adventurer, ready to invest in a business despite the possibility of being back at the bottom of the ladder, then he often refused to implement his ideas. The lack of the necessary skills, together with the fear of failure, did not allow many truly interesting ideas to become reality. In order not to be afraid to make mistakes as an adult, it is possible and necessary to get a competent knowledge base in childhood.
In an effort to raise an educated, economically competent generation, within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative", the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Center "My Business" of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Project to Support Small and Medium-sized Businesses "My Business" and the KidSpace children's city have developed and organized the project "Take an idea to action" for students of grades 5-8. This course, built in the format of a business game, should not only contribute to the formation of children's ideas about what "entrepreneurship" is, but also explain in a clear and accessible language the principle of its work in the system of market relations. The aim of the project is to create conditions for the study of entrepreneurship as one of the integral components of the socio-economic practice of modern Tatarstan. The course started in KidSpace town on November 8 and will end on November 23, 2021.
As a result of completing the course program, children will gain confident knowledge about who entrepreneurs are and what they do; learn how a business is created from the appearance of an idea to its implementation; learn the subtleties of such important things as marketing and advertising, and moreover, they will try to create their first independent project. An important part of the process will be the development of the necessary business skills: communication, analysis, comparison and working with text. And the bravest of the guys who have reached the age of 14, after completing the course, will be able to apply their knowledge in real life and try to realize their ideas as a self-employed entrepreneur.
Contribution to the development of a child today is a contribution to the future of the republic. Thanks to the "Take an idea to action" course, children will be able to understand that entrepreneurship is not only a personal benefit, but also an opportunity to meet the needs of the society in which they live.
National projects have been implemented in Russia since 2019 by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
