Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov met with Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin.
Issues of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the issues of benefits for residents of PSEDA and industrial parks, the institute of self-employment, the investment climate, legislative work were touched upon.
In his speech Midhat Shagiakhmetov spoke about the interaction with the deputies of the State Duma at the regional level. Working groups, which include representatives of republican line ministries, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, have been created in the State Duma in order to promptly resolve fixed issues, attract federal budget funds, ensure Tatarstan's participation in federal targeted programs and promote legislative initiatives.
During the dialogue, they paid attention to changes in legislation on the protection and promotion of capital investments, discussed the prospects for creating an international medical cluster on the territory of the republic, which could become an opportunity to attract investors to the region, told about the Tatarstan medical industrial park, in which six residents operate.
Also during the meeting, the problems of the development of agglomerations were voiced, including the legislative consolidation of the concept of "agglomerations", the legal regulation of urban planning, land relations, issues of complex socio-economic development of the territories of agglomerations, including the construction of new housing, public, transport and social infrastructure and the creation of new places of employment.
State Duma deputy, elected from Tatarstan, Maxim Topilin arrived in Kazan on a working trip as part of the regional week in the constituency. The deputy plans to inspect the vaccination points, get acquainted with the work of the Regional Public Reception of the United Russia Party, and communicate with the activists of the public movement "Medical Volunteers".
