At the EuroSkills Graz Championship held from September 22 to 26, 2021, Russia won the first team place, ahead of 30 European countries. The national team WorldSkills Russia took 1st place by the results of the general team - medals and ranking, thus confirming its leadership in the international arena in the new conditions in the first in-person championship after the pandemic.
Tatarstan contestants made a significant contribution to the victory of the national team. Participants from Tatarstan contributed 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals to the national collection piggy bank.
According to the competence "Entrepreneurship", the honor of the Russian Federation was defended by a representative of the Republic of Tatarstan, a student of Kazan Innovation University named after V. G. Timiryasov Evgenia Kamratova.
Following the results of three competitive days and nine competitive modules of the European Championship in Graz, Evgenia, together with her partner Anna, became the winners of the largest event in the field of professional skills, education and advanced training in Europe, scoring 83.39 points and winning gold medals.
At the championship, which was based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in the competence of "Entrepreneurship", the Russian national team had strong rivals from Austria, Estonia, Luxenburg and Albania, but Evgenia and Anna were able to prove that the Russian method of preparation is the best, outstripping their competitors in a stubborn struggle.
Tatarstan students have already won gold in the Entrepreneurship competence for the second European Championship in a row, at the previous EuroSkills in Budapest in 2018, KIU student Karina Khaleeva also won gold in the Entrepreneurship competence, contributing to Russia's victory at the European Championship.
